4⃣Remembering LKY

The Tang Dynasty was the most prosperous era for China, the "Golden Age of China". Different aspects of China(Art and Culture, Business and Economy, Education, Governance, Science and Technology) flourished during that period. Without him, Singapore would not be where it is now, the "Golden Age of Singapore".

The late Mr Lee Kuan Yew is recognized as the founding father of independent Singapore, leading the country to progress from the "third world to the first world in a single generation". He devoted his entire adult life to Singapore. He served over 3 decades as Singapore's Prime Minister. He had many visions for Singapore and cared for the well-being of Singaporeans, which inspired various development policies, from homeownership and urban planning to the greening of Singapore. 

Mr Lee Kuan Yew brought us from a tiny fishing village to a modern city. Because of him, Singapore is a prosperous country. Singapore's economy is ranked 4th in the ASEAN countries and holds good relations with other countries. Singapore has a strong culture, the government has a "no-corruption policy", and Singaporeans uses technology for daily needs. We live comfortably, knowing that we have a roof over our heads, can get a proper education, have a steady supply of clean drinking water and can co-exist harmoniously with other races. Without him, Singapore would not be where it is now, the "Golden Age of Singapore".

However, we have to remember his legacy, what he has sacrificed for us, to honour his memory. We have to make sure his entire life was not spent in vain, and continue his life's work to push Singapore to greater heights.
